Mission Statement
“To provide efficient, dependable emergency services with professional courtesy; while maintaining strict asset management.”
Who We Are
Established in 1959, Crescent Rural Fire Protection District (CRFPD) began providing fire suppression services to citizens within the unincorporated area of Crescent, Oregon.
Originally the district was staffed entirely by volunteers. Today, we provide a modern full service department which provides fire, rescue and emergency medical services, to include Advanced Life Support Ambulance transport. Today, we still rely heavily on our volunteer force. CRFPD is a combination department which consists of both career and volunteer staff. Our career staff includes the Fire Chief, a Firefighter/Paramedic, Firefighter/EMT and an Office Administrator/AEMT.
CRFPD provides Advanced Life Support ambulance services to over 590 square miles of North Klamath County, whereas our Fire District is just over 13 square miles. We rely heavily on the working partnerships from our neighboring fire districts to provide for an efficient, timely response to our vast response area.
